Cocoon to Butterfly...

I have no problem "pushing the envelope"... always stretching my comfort zone, skirting the edge, even stepping outside of it.. "Why" you ask? because I stayed inside of it far, far too long.

Years ago, someone I love very much and greatly respect got me to take a long look at my self..more than once. I got tired of sitting on the sidelines of Life, I was long overdue for getting into the game... so I (finally) did... and here I am!

By day ... I'm a policy analyst. I pursue my duties with the same passion and enthusiasm as always. I do it for the children of the State of Texas. In my spare time... I am an activist.. I pursue issues regarding social justice, education, and politics. I also like to have fun… recently started to learn merengue and salsa dancing, also enjoy watching not-so-mainstream films, learning about varied events, working on/expanding my network, and working on my personal politics. I'm also a fledgling blogger!!

I am now more apt to actually seize the day (or maybe just a moment), than just say it..

I have always believed in making a difference, I honestly believe I am doing that even more now.. although my methods are.. unique.


There is just so much I like, enjoy, and delight in.. I have a multi-faceted personality, just as a diamond has many sides... not everyone sees all of me, not everybody should.
